Prelude
You see, I've never been to another continent. I didn't have a chance to travel that much. The furthers that I've ever been was Bangkok I guess. I was 4 years old. I couldn't even remember that part of my life. SO, this is big deal to me. Like very big deal!
Mummy (my wife) had an idea of three of us to travel to see the world. Yes I agree on traveling, but money was always an issue. But she kept pushed on with the idea. We had argument but somehow I believed in her. That's why I married her. She's the mother of my child. What else could go wrong, right?
I was always skeptical on the idea of spending tons amount of money on one particular thing. Especially traveling to another country that have big ass amount of exchange rates. I was always worried on not have enough money for travelling. Earning in MYR is always a problem. But the story must goes on.
Mummy convinced me on buying tickets to Australia back in 2016. 10 months in advance. It was a lot cheaper. Junior (my kid) was only 8 or 9 months old. I think he was ready for anything. Yeah! Travelling with babah and mummy! Yeah Let's go. But deep in my heart I was worried.
Earlier that year, we went to Tioman Island when Junior was 7 months. That was intense! Then there was the Langkawi trip. It was the first time he flew on an airplane. That was stressful either. It was always stressful traveling with an toddler. Knowing mummy that she would bring the whole house on travelling made me more stressful. But somehow we kept soldier on. Those 2 trips thought us on how to travelling with a kid. It was like a training for us both.
Moving on... So through out the year, we were planning where to go, how is the accommodation gonna be and we did saved some money for our trip. Unfortunately it wasn't enough to have extra fun. But it's okay.
